UNY KNB SCHOLARSHIP STUDENTS’ REGISTRATION AND FIRST ORIENTATION MEETING

Thursday, 19th August 2021, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) held an online KNB Scholarship Students Registration and First Orientation Meeting. 

The meeting is attended by thirteen new international students from various majors and countries who receive KNB Scholarship to study in Master (12) and Doctoral (1) programs in UNY. 

Beasiswa Kemitraan Negara Berkembang, popularly known as KNB Scholarship, is a scholarship program given by the government of the Republic of Indonesia to successful applicants originating from developing countries. Managed by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, the scholarship is intended to support Indonesian universities’ internationalization. 

Office of International Services UNY, together with the Registration Division Academic, Partnership, and Student Affairs (AKK) Bureau, assisted the new students' registration process to enroll in UNY. 

Head of the Office of International Services (KLI) UNY Basikin, S.Pd., M.Phil., M.Ed., Ph.D. on his welcome speech congratulated all of the UNY KNB Scholarship awardees. He also said that after completing the registration process, all of the awardees would officially become UNY's students.
