Last Monday, August 23, 2021, five Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) recipients of the FPT Education Global Online English Program Scholarship, accompanied by Office of International Services (KLI) UNY, secretary (dr. Kartika R Pertiwi, M.Biomed.Sc., Ph.D) and student mobility staff (Tiara Sekarwangi, S.Pd) attended the online opening ceremony of this program.
FPT Education Global, FPT University, Vietnam holds an Online English Program from August 22-September 3, 2021 for their partner university students from Vietnam, Japan and Indonesia. Mr. Hai Vu, the Director of Global Mobility offered scholarships to 5 (five) UNY students to join this program together with students from Japan and Vietnam.
The selection of students is based on aspects of faculty equity, English language skills, and commitment to be active and proactive during the program.
The five students who have been selected and now participating in the program are Dippya Kharisma Widiatmika from Biology Education, Hanifa Nugraheni from Psychology, Novita Rizkia Della from Culinary Education, Qurlita Syaharani from Communication Science, and Shinta Cantika Baihaqi from Mathematics Education.
FPT Education Global also invited a representative from UNY to deliver a speech to encourage students at the beginning of their learning experience. In this regard, dr. Kartika expressed her gratitude towards FPT Education Global for the opportunity and hoped that this cooperation could be stronger in the future. She also urged the students to actively participate in the class as such great international learning ambience like this english training program is hard to find.
