February 21, 2023, the Yogyakarta State University (UNY) International Office has carried out monitoring activities for the registration of participants in the 2023 Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA).
Representatives from the Cooperation and Public Relations Unit from each of the seven faculties at Yogyakarta State University participated in this activity to share updates and progression on the implementation of IISMA activities in each faculty.
The IISMA scholarship program is being held by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) to give Indonesian students the chance to study for one semester or for 4-6 months at well-known overseas universities. The official registration period for IISMA 2023 is from February 8 through March 1, 2023.
Students in undergraduate and vocational programs can enroll in the IISMA program under two different arrangements. Active undergraduate students enrolled in domestic tertiary institutions run by the Ministry of Education and Culture who are enrolled in semesters 4 or 6 at the time of registration are eligible for undergraduate IISMA.
While this is going on, the Vocational Education Provider Colleges (PTPPV) under the supervision of the Ministry of Education and Culture have opened the Vocational IISMA for students enrolled in the Diploma 3 program who are in semester 4 and the Diploma 4 program who are enrolled in semester 4 or semester 6.
International Office monitoring activities for IISMA participant applicants in each faculty at Yogyakarta State University were opened by (NAME) as the Master of Ceremony. This was followed by remarks from the Head of International Office of UNY, Prof. Dr. Mochamad Bruri Triyono, M.Pd. who provide support and motivation for each faculty to increase student interest and potential to take part in the IISMA program. Followed by the Secretary of International Office of UNY, Anita Triastuti, S.Pd., M.A., Ph.D. who provides further explanation about this IISMA program. The next activity was the delivery of progress from each faculty represented by representatives of the Cooperation and Public Relations Unit starting from FEB, FMIPA, FT, FIPP, FV, FIKK, FBSB, and FISHIPOL followed by a question-and-answer session.
